Tomorrow (May 30) is Raptors Day at school! Sorry for the late notice - we just found out today! Please wear red or purple or black to cheer on our Raps as they head to the NBA Finals!
We’ve had a wonderful year visiting the Library. We had our last visit on Friday, and Ms. Williams read us this great book, ‘It’s Ramadan, Curious George’. We liked hearing about everything George and his friends did to observe Ramadan.
That strange green structure? It is our part of our new and improved garden! Room 155 has transplanted our beans and marigolds to the courtyard. We needed something to support the growth of our beans, so we upcycled this old hoop thing and used it for our planting. We’ll keep an eye on how everything grows - maybe we’ll have some beans to crunch soon!
To all the wonderful families of Room 155, Thank you for being such wonderful supports for the students. With your care and guidance, we have grown so much this year. Happy International Day of Families to you all! We have been crafting away (you will see the results come home on Friday!)
We have been studying symmetry and mapping in order to develop our spatial sense. Please see our wonderful Art below. We made symmetrical houses and maps of the classroom.
