Field Trip Tomorrow!

Looking forward to our trip tomorrow!  Please remember to bring a lunch that is easy to eat, water bottle and snack. We will be leaving around 9am and back around 3pm. Thank you also to all our parent volunteers!

Making Connections

To improve our reading comprehension, we are working on making connections to a text. So far we have explored text to self and text to text. See some examples below!

Homes for a Bear

Image
After discussing hibernation on our visit to the Library, we created great homes for a bear!  We included a roof, walls, and even a bed!

Our Terrarium

Image
Despite the cold, we managed to find a few creatures to study in our terrarium. Mostly worms, but some others as well, including this larva which we think will turn in to a beetle!

Book Fair

We will be visiting the book fair tomorrow morning during school time. Otherwise, you may visit after school this week from 4-7pm.

Interviews

If you haven’t received a confirmation of our interview time, please check your email and junk folder. If you aren’t able to see a message from me, please email me for your time, or look at the list posted in our classroom window. Thanks!

We are learning about 3D shapes. In this activity, we were exploring the 2D shapes that are the faces of the 3D shapes. We traced them with a partner and labeled them.
